FREEDOM
“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” - John 8:36
Land of the Free, Home of the Brave! The United States of America was founded on Biblical values and principals. The founding fathers felt a calling from God to do something and create something that never existed before. We at CBMC Louisville, also feel called by God to share Christ’s freedom.
As you set out to enjoy this 4th of July with family and friends, don’t forget who gives you and this great land its true freedom and independence. There is no freedom like the freedom found in redemption. Freedom from the shackles of sin, freedom from the burden of lies, and freedom from the fear of what lies ahead … all of these are lifted, when we leave behind our vices and sinful ways and follow Jesus.
Following Jesus is the greatest freedom of all. It is a choice. It is a decision. It is our opportunity to tell the enemy, “You no longer have any power over me.” Freedom isn’t free. Christ paid for your freedom with His own blood, that you may be free from all your worries and burdens. Be brave and bold in Christ! If you have been saved, join us in saving others.
