“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.”

- Ephesians 6:10-11

Do you go to work and leave Christ at the door, out of fear of not conforming to office politics?  Fear is a liar, and all Christians know this, but we still let it haunt us.  The enemy wants you to be fearful and leave Christ at the door.  We ask you to be bold in Christ!

Being bold in Christ takes different forms.  It means unashamedly praying over your lunch.  It means feeling free to invite someone to join you in attending a church function.  It also means you can unashamedly offer comfort to a hurt or stressed coworker with scripture.  It’s ok to remind people that there is a loving God that is waiting to comfort them and take their worries and pain from them.

For some, it simply means putting the skin on Jesus.  If you can be a blessing to someone, then bless them.  God blesses us so that we can bless others and multiply the benefits of every blessing that He delivers.  Tell that person it is your love of Christ and service to Him that leads you in your deeds through the holy spirit.  Open the door for a conversation about what that looks like in a Christian life.  Talk about Christian organizations like CBMC and the blessings that these groups offer and allow you to offer to others.

What will you do today to be bold in Christ?  It can be as simple as inviting one person to attend a CBMC meeting with you this week.  Then watch the ripple effect.  Be bold in Christ!
